Mike Heika says that Philippe Boucher is suffering from a strained hip.
“To say he is devastated is an understatement,” Tippett said.
Poor poor Bouche! I just feel terrible for him this season, with all the injuries. He has got to be miserable right now. I hope he gets back soon.
Stéphane Robidas was hit in the face with a puck during the first period in Game 5. He crumpled to the ice and Brenden Morrow rushed over to help him up. He went straight down the tunnel, bleeding all over the trainer. And then, amazingly, came back in the same period and ended up playing 23 minutes of the game. The puck hit his visor and the impact pushed the visor in and it broke his nose. Imagine the damage if he didn’t have a visor!
For such a sweet guy, he sure is tough. Of course, I could say that about all of them.
