Yay Phillippe! Remember when his kids were excited that daddy got to play with Sidney Crosby? Well, daddy got to win with him too. It would have been sweeter with your Stars, but that is pretty sweet as is.

I thought of you when I watched him with the cup. It must have been great to see your favorite player skate around with the cup in his hands, after such a weird/tough season!

I’m still in shock. I can’t believe the Pens actually won or even more, that the Wings lost! It was exciting to see the much maligned Sid get to skate the Cup, but it was even more exciting to get to see the lovely Mr. Boucher skate the Cup. We all said, Patty must be so excited!

Myra, you’re so right. In all the excitement about Sid and Bouche winning, I forgot how wonderful it is to see the Wings lose. And they’re being such babies about it. I thought they were supposed to be classy! :D

As soon as I heard the Pens won, I thought, “Yay! Patty’ll get to see Bouche hoist the Cup!”

I’m so happy for him. He earned it. I feel a little sad that it wasn’t with the Stars, naturally, but he definitely earned it.
